What to Look for:
- Cruelty Free
3. Ethical Sourcing/Thoughtful Packaging
4. Palm Oil Free
This post will tell you what to look for when you are shopping for sustainable skincare, and some great brands that check all of the boxes!
I asked for a few Ethique products last Christmas, and when I received them, I was not disappointed! It comes in very thoughtful packaging and it feels, and smells just like a normal product that you might find at Walmart. The only difference is the impact it makes on the planet, and I really like that about this brand.
Bee you organics
Bee You Organics has a very minimalistic design, and they make a range of plastic free skincare that specializes in sensitive, acne prone and troubled skin. I also like that Bee You Organics supports small business, various local charities, and are beginning to employ economically disadvantaged women as they grow and need more hands on deck.
Fat and the moon
Not only does Fat and the Moon offer great sustainable skincare, they also offer a huge spread of zero waste deodorant, makeup , hair care, and more, all packaged in reusable tins. Additionally, they are a totally women owned and operated company!
